The ART of idea

Technique is the foundation. Artistic intelligence is the destination.

ART of Ballet Intensives connect precise classical training with individual correction, repertoire, choreographic understanding and artistic development. Each city develops its own programme rather than repeating the same structure in a different location.

In Marseille, this philosophy becomes a focused seven-day programme for dancers aged 12+, bringing together classical ballet, classical repertoire and variations, William Forsythe repertoire and choreographic principles, creative practice and individual coaching.

The Marseille edition is designed as one connected artistic week. Material, corrections and ideas develop progressively across the programme, allowing dancers to deepen both technical organisation and independent artistic thinking.

William Forsythe

A connection that helped shape ART of’s artistic language.

ART of Ballet Intensives are presented with the kind support of William Forsythe. His approach to space, structure, articulation and choreographic decision-making is an important reference within ART of’s artistic work.

In Marseille, William Forsythe repertoire and related choreographic principles complement classical ballet and classical repertoire, helping dancers connect technical structure with spatial awareness, musicality, coordination and independent artistic choices.
