The Marseille edition runs from 16 to 22 August 2027 at ENDM – École Nationale de Danse de Marseille and is designed as one connected, seven-day intensive.
A typical training day combines classical ballet with repertoire and variation work, alongside pointe work according to level. Depending on the group, faculty and programme possibilities, the schedule may also include pas de deux, Forsythe-based work and creative practice.
Coaching is integrated throughout the classes, with teachers working closely with each dancer and offering individual corrections, guidance and artistic feedback.
Final group placement, studio allocation and the detailed daily schedule are communicated to accepted participants at a later stage.
Professional development through observation.
Observation Classes are designed for teachers, dance pedagogues, rehearsal directors, professional dancers developing their teaching practice and relevant dance or sport professionals.
Observers can focus on class architecture, exercise development, musical choices, correction language, level adaptation and the relationship between technical, artistic and physical development. Observation does not include permission to film or interrupt classes.
